Young adult fish are typically shipped. At this stage, both males and females are at or near breeding age and the males are showing color and pattern. Females are selected by age and are typically non-gravid. Visibly gravid females are generally within 1-2 weeks of dropping fry.
Each male Endler is unique: While your fish will be the high-quality strain and grade purchased, please expect natural variations in pattern and color as no two Endlers are identical.
Wonder Shells: Essential for maintaining optimal calcium and mineral levels, which is vital for Endlers and other livebearers. Break into chunks: ½" for under 20 gallons, 1" for larger tanks. Check hardness once dissolved and add more as needed.
