Black Bar Endlers
This Strain has a prominent "Black Bar" on both flanks with contrasting bright adjacent colors. These colors usually include red, orange, yellow & occasionally green. The tail usually displays a red / orange "sword and a half" outlined in black. The dorsal fin may be clear or display color. See the Details page for Grade A traits.

Peacock Endlers
This Strain has a prominent black “Peacock” like spot on its tail. The top portion of both flanks include a red / orange stripe (sometimes broken) and a black spot(s) below the stripe. The other prominent colors on the body often include yellow & green. In addition to the black spot, the tail also usually displays a red / orange "sword and a half" outlined in black. Recommendations and Notes

Wonder Shells: Highly recommended to keep calcium & minerals high, which is essential for Endlers, guppies and other livebearers. Break into chunks to use: A ½" chunk for under 20 gallons & a 1" chunk for over 20 gallons. Once fully dissolved, test for hardness and add more as needed.
Plant stems: Stems are the top 1"-2" of these plants and are usually rootless.
Gender identification: Although rare, there is a risk a female identified Endler, is actually a male that starts to color up later than usual. As an inherent risk, shipped orders are considered “as is.”
